Privacy Policy

wwwfate.com ("wwwfate", "we", "us") provides small AI-assisted naming tools (starting with pet naming). This policy explains what data we process and why, in plain terms.

1. What we collect

Photos you upload — sent to our AI provider to generate a name. A compressed copy may also be saved with your public share page (see below) so the page can show the photo.
Answers to short mood prompts (or a brief self-description / skip) — used only to shape the naming result.
Share-page profile — after a name is sealed, we store a public profile keyed by a hash of the photo: names, meaning, source, time seal, and optional compressed photo. Unpaid profiles expire after 24 hours; a paid Keepsake keeps the profile permanently.
Technical data — IP address and a device fingerprint, used solely for rate-limiting (preventing abuse). Stored temporarily in Cloudflare KV and expires automatically.
Payment information — if you unlock a Keepsake, payment is handled by our payment processor (Creem). We do not receive or store your card details; we only receive confirmation that a payment was made, plus enough to mark that profile as paid.

2. What we do not do

We do not require an account or login.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for advertising.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
We do not keep the original full-resolution upload beyond processing; share pages use a small compressed image when present.

3. Third-party processors

We use the following services to operate wwwfate:

Cloudflare — hosting, edge compute (Workers), rate-limit storage, and profile storage (KV)
AI model provider (via Cloudflare AI Gateway) — we use models such as Kimi to process photos and text and generate name suggestions. Photos and text are not used to train this model beyond standard provider processing.
Creem — payment processing for the Keepsake unlock

Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing data they process on our behalf.

4. Your rights

Unpaid share pages expire automatically after 24 hours. Paid profiles remain as long as the service does. If you have questions about a specific page, payment data held by Creem, or anything else in this policy, contact us using the email below.

5. Children's privacy

wwwfate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
